The Staten Island School of Rock

Josh is so amazing with my daughter. He has been working with her for years and and her progress is beyond my expectation. He really brings out her confidence and pushes her pass her comfort zone while making all their lessons fun. I love watching them work cause it’s not only beautiful to watch the matching energies, they really complement each other vocally. She also just started playing the drums with Dylan and she has learned so much in such little time already. He is so patient with her and they have so much fun together. Awesome place to bring your kid. I travel 30 minutes out just to come here cause they are so amazing with her.

My daughter started lessons two years ago and loved it. It has helped her train her voice and has given her an opportunity to show off her talents. Ms Janine is a great teacher! My daughter loves going to her lessons every time and comes back with a smile. It is very easy to reschedule lessons due to holidays or family emergencies, and she always informs us about any concerts/events we can join.

My son Frank and daughter Madeline have been taking voice lessons with Janine for the past two years, and I'm so happy with the progress that they are making with her. Janine is a talented and skilled instructor. She is developing both their voices and their music appreciation. She is so patient and supportive, and her amazing voice and positive energy are an inspiration to my children. They love Janine and always look forward to their lessons!

My daughter Adrianna absolutely loves attending School of Rock for vocal instruction!!! Staff are warm and welcoming. Her instructor, Janine, is talented, patient and cheerful. Janine empowers Adrianna to have the confidence to use her voice. She looks forward to lessons and performances. I am so grateful to her instructor and to the School for helping my daughter to develop her talent.I highly recommend School of Rock !!!

My son Alexander has been going to the School of Rock for over 8 years now. He has one of the coolest coaches for drums--Nick. Nick was familiar with my son during the 2 years that he helped coach the Horace Green band prior to Covid stopping the band in its tracks. But, he has now continued to use Nick on drum lessons for the past year and a half. They have a cool bond and are always laughing and having a good time in lessons. So we are big fan of Nick's and glad he is Alex's drum coach.
